The tracks are opening back up and some of you are getting back out there. For Theo, the streets are all his Titanium Silver E46 M3 is going to see for a while. During the past few months, he's been converting his build into the ultimate street track setup. With KW V3 Series coilovers and a 25.5" ride height, it's built with purpose. It is also currently equipped with an Apex ARC-8's 18x9.5" squared on Pilot Super Sport 4's.
Originally an SMG, it was converted to a 6MT by @smgto6mt along with a BMW Performance short shift kit. Other interior upgrades include Recaro Pole Position seats with Leather Black Bolsters and Suede Grey Inserts which closely resemble the Sport Seats in the E46 M3 CSL. Not only do these seats match the OEM interior seamlessly, they give the passenger the ability to take corners more comfortably.
There are many different exhaust options to pair with an M3. With three sections and the headers that break up the system, you have a variety of combinations. Theo chose to go with a catless setup and an Agency Power Muffler. Pairing that up with a carbon fiber airbox.. now that’s a great combination.
Under the hood you'll find a Karbonius CSL full carbon fiber Airbox partnered with a Kassel
Performance Tune and Full CSL Hardware/Firmware Conversion. You can’t help but appreciate the amazing induction noise that it sends through the cabin. Alternatively, he mentioned that it serves as a great method to scare any deer off the road from trying to cross; all jokes aside, he has also explained to me how hard it is to stay off the gas and how can you blame him?
You may be looking at this engine bay asking yourself "what's missing?” The snorkel install is coming soon and it'll direct even more air into that astounding airbox. Job well done Theo and the shops that helped. This is a great build that deserves recognition.
